This is one of two twin size quilts that have very special meanings. My client had saved her son and daughters baby clothes and put her faith in me to use them to make a memory quilt for each of her children. Baby Love is the daughter's quilt. All of the hearts and the binding are made from her baby clothes. In addition, the binding is hand stitched. Her daughter's birthstone is a ruby so I used the red and gold fabrics as the backdrop to highlight the clothing hearts. This was also a first for me in creating the scalloped edge, but I felt something special had to be done to really demonstrate what a beautiful gift my client is giving her daughter!
